Volunteers Needed for 2024 Season

After exhausting many different options we have been unable to find a summer manager for the 2024 season.

After discussion we have decided to open the Pepin County Heritage Center this summer Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on a volunteer basis.

In order to be open this summer two days a week we will need volunteers to sign up to open and close the heritage center throughout the summer.

Below is a link to a Google Doc with the dates we are hoping to open this summer.  If you are available and willing to help us out please contact me and I will fill in the form with your name and day(s) you are interested in volunteering.

Please call/text Matt Sam (715)-495-8395 or email [email protected] with the day(s) you are interested in volunteering.

A short guide with instructions for opening/closing the heritage center will be shared with volunteers prior to their volunteer day.

Thank you for considering to be a part of sharing Pepin County’s rich heritage with our community!

New Name & Brand

We are happy to announce that we have completed a major rebranding of our historic courthouse building.  The rebranding was prompted by wanting to use the courthouse in Downtown Durand as more than a museum and confusion over different name variations.
