We are excited to share that our America 250 exhibit is complete!
Stop in and see our historic display, “Flags of Our Country,” in Room 1. Originally assembled by the Durand Woman’s Club for the nation’s Bicentennial celebration in 1976, this exhibit showcases the evolution of the American flag through history.
You’ll also find photos from past Pepin County Fourth of July celebrations, along with patriotic artifacts displayed throughout Room 1 and the main hallway.
The Heritage Center is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. all summer long—including July 3 and July 4!
Make plans to stop by before heading to Freedom Festival in Durand on Friday, July 3!
Celebrate America’s past, honor those who came before us, and help us kick off the nation’s 250th anniversary.
